The company founder, Peter Egan Jr, shut down the business in the fall of 2014 in order to rejoin his father’s southeast Louisiana home health company on a full-time basis.

EGAN Medical is a retail provider of quality home medical equipment products, medical and nursing supplies, orthopedic supports and braces, bath safety and mobility equipment, diabetes and maternity care products.

While the retail business was officially born in January of 2011, although the company’s website and online store did not debut until early May of that year, although the organization’s founders and employees all have extensive backgrounds in the medical equipment and home health care industries.
